Measurement method:

In order to make the position of measuring point accurate, the sample of measuring point should be made according to the shape of magnetic pole (using plexiglass board or wooden board) before measurement.The positions of each measuring point are drawn on the template, and the measuring point is drilled for the probe to be extended into the hole for measurement.The measurement content generally includes: magnetic field intensity of each section at different positions of the magnetic system, magnetic field intensity of each key point on the surface of the magnetic pole and magnetic field intensity of the space point at a certain distance from the magnetic pole to be measured on each section.

The specific steps are as follows:

(1) three sections are selected along the axial direction of the cylinder: one section is selected in the middle, and the other two sections are selected at 200mm from each end.

(2) the magnetic field intensity of several key points on the surface of the cylinder should be measured on each section. Generally, there are 3 points at the edge and middle of each magnetic pole (2 points are not detected at the edge of the magnetic system) and 1 point at the middle of the polar gap. If the number of poles is n, the number of measured points n =[3n-2+(n-1)]=4n-3.For example, the 3-pole magnetic system has 9 points, the 4-pole magnetic system has 13 points, and so on.

(3) the average value of magnetic field intensity at each point measured on the cylinder surface represents the magnetic field intensity on the cylinder surface. Similarly, the average value of magnetic field intensity at each point at a certain height from the cylinder surface represents the magnetic field intensity of the arc surface.

(4) measure 3 ~ 5 points above each key point on each section at a certain distance from the cylinder surface.Such as 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm from the cylinder surface.
